Nationality: British

Born in 1965, Mark originally studied History of Art at the University of Edinburgh and Italian at the Dante Alighieri School in Milan, before turning his attention to painting and taking a BA in Fine Art at the London Institute's City & Guilds School of Art.

In his final year he won a variety of awards: the New Grafton Gallery Travel Award for painting, the City & Guilds drawing prize and the Manya Igel Prize for painting.

Since graduating Mark has worked continuously exhibiting with John Martin of London and the New Grafton Gallery. His work hangs in many collections including the City & Guilds/London Institute, Sir Brindsley Ford C.B.E and the cartoonist Purple Ronnie.

Mark is currently working between Switzerland and the Middle East on new series of drawing. To be informed when new work becomes available, please contact the gallery.

Mark Adlington is a sculptor, painter and draughtsman of considerable ability. He has drawn animals since he was a small boy and has developed a fluent style that captures the movement and volume of animals in motion.

Mark is currently working between Switzerland and the Middle East on a new series of drawings.
