Toll The Bells Softly: Richard Cartwright

In Spring of 2021 we were delighted to present Toll The Bells Softly, a solo exhibition by Richard Cartwright. As ever Cartwright's inspiration comes from the world of his imagination that echoes his own nightly journeys through the lamp lit streets of Bristol, wondering in the twilight alone but rarely lonely. Peaceful yet myserious figures appear to be wondering & searching for something or someone, perhaps the profound connections that people find in nature or other people. They are like short stories told with a full heart & a knowing smile.
